New Pavilions For Two Great Falls Parks

Neighborhood Council 3 determined that there was a need for new pavilions to be added to two of our district’s underdeveloped parks. These two parks, Skyline-Optimist Park and Valley View Park, are located at the opposite ends of our area of responsibility.

Neighborhood Council 3 has selected a pavilion design and began a fundraising campaign to raise the necessary funds to purchase two city-approved prefabricated shelters. The total cost of the structures alone (excluding concrete and the labor for installation) is estimated to be $86,076.02.

When constructed, these pavilions will provide shelter and shade for both younger and older individuals enjoying our community parks, provide opportunities for outdoor family gatherings, and help bring our neighbors closer together. These structures will be a much needed addition to two of our city’s wonderful parks.
